Songwriting is an integral part of Nina's musical journey. As catharsis, a source of pleasure and an exploratory means of expression, creating original works is the driving force behind her personal development as a musician.

An enthusiastic investigator of different styles, Nina channels her songs through a variety of genres, from folk and acoustica to jazz, blues, soul, bossa, reggae and sunshine pop. Whatever the destination, something is learned and her individual sound keeps growing. Whether a confessional, a narrative, a diatribe or a burst of energy, Nina relishes the opportunity to communicate an idea to her audience; to start a dialogue.

Whilst the body of her compositions have been written solo, Nina also enjoys collaborating with other musicians and songwrites, and the rich experience of mutual creativity. As a freelance songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, being part of a broader musical community is important to Nina, as each connection deepens her passion for music and the art of writing songs.
